The group was formed in 1959.
We now have a membership of around 130 most of whom attend our weekly sessions at the the Jubilee Centre at the Rangiora Show Grounds.
We meet every Tuesday from 9.30am until around 2.pm. During the winter months we invite tutors who take workshops for groups of about 12 at a time. During the summer members sometimes attend out door venues.
Our annual Spring Exhibition held in the Jubilee Centre on the lat week end of October.
The members create art of all kinds - watercolour, acrilyic, oil, pen pencils, collage and mixed media.
We have both experienced and beginner artists and anyone is welcome to join, as members are encouraged to keep developing their skills in a caring sharing atmosphere.Indoor painting days are held on Tuesdays from 9am until around 2.30pm at the Jubilee Centre at the Rangiora Show Grounds, Ashley Street, Rangiora.
We are open from February through to December every Tuesday.
